From This Mom's Heart

These true tales __ short stories __ some downright humorous __ and others will bring a tear to your eyes as it did for me when recapitulating our growing up years.

I call these episodes our growing up years because; I was learning how to adjust to being a mom __ a wife __ and a parent of two sons all at the same time and still being a child myself.  In my humorous moments, I would tell the boys that while they were growing up they were rearing a mom also, so make sure you do a good job. 

When others asked if my sons were twins, I would tell them no, but we are all about the same age. Together we learned and had some pretty wild times getting the job done.

Each of the stories that I will share with you has a life lesson in it. If you are the mom of small children or grown children we go through some tough times and wonder how we will make it. I will share some of our times that may help you today. We made it with prayer and taking God’s instruction very serious. We didn’t always do everything right but Jesus was there to teach us the right way every time.

The memories that I have will last a lifetime and be recorded for my Grand Angels to read to their children.
