Letters of Love Dear Jane, I once heard someone say that we often put God in a box. I believe that is true, do we not often just expect what God is doing or will do be contained to the parameters of a box no matter how large or small we make that box out to be. This person encouraged us to think outside that box and let God wow us. I decided to do that, just let God wow me and I can testify that He has blessed me with what I like to call God wows. In reality when I look back over many years I can see how He was wowing me and until I heard about putting God in a box I never really thought about all those events and how they would not have been taken care of had He not been there. It is not the wows that are important but more the fact that He knows our needs, and looks after everything no matter how large or small. All we have to do is have Faith, believe in Him even though we cannot see the solutions. How great and mighty is our God that He would care for us and call us His own. Today I stand in awe of Him, humbled before Him as He continues every day to meet my needs even before I know I have one. Let us not put Him in that box but instead expect the unexpected. Love, SP |
