Letters of Love
Dear Jane
This past Sunday I attended the Agape church as a guest. At the end of the service I went up for prayer. I had knee replacement surgery 7 weeks ago and on top of that for the past two weeks I had been battling a nasty stomach virus that despite everything I did it would not let go. I felt very depleted and empty on every level. You and the team came up against all of it and less than 24 hours later I knew it had finally left me. I woke up yesterday morning with such energy and renewal that I knew The Lord had touched me through you and the team. I am a firm believer in prayer and the power behind it however I have never seen it work so fast in my own life. The words that Sophie used from Philippians 4:13 was the Lord's reminder to me that it is from Him that I gain my strength. I have been using that scripture for a good few years. I can tell you that just as Sophie said to me that the world tells me no I say yes because I know that He does give me the strength to say yes when it is something I know I have to do. He gives me just that little bit of stubbornness to try as I know that I am the only one that can do it. No one is going to do it for me. Going up the stairs to the church on Sunday was a very good example. At first it did not seem that I had the strength but I tried again and then it seemed as if the angels were right behind me for soon I was at the top. So to The Lord I give the glory for the renewal and for enabling you to be here in Calgary for such a time as this. May you be richly blessed in all that you do as you continue to serve Him.
