Letters
of Love
During a meeting with
Jane in May 2007, I was given this prophetic word for my mother and I
was encouraged to write it down and send it in here under the
"letters of love" section.
"There is a
silent, subtle resilience about you that shows your confidence and
courage. Something is about you that shows that you know that there is a
victory. Sometimes you have your good days and your bad days where you
feel inadequate and unable to put out and support your family, but
there's a courage there. It's like the good ol' fashioned...
'pressed but not
crushed'
'persecuted not abandoned'
'struck down but not destroyed'
'His power is made perfect in your weakness'
It's just like a
runner at the end of a marathon that lays on his back, looking up and
going 'phht'. He's tired, but it's over. You have that look about you,
but you know that there is still one more punch left, one more kick, one
last go. It's coming; you know it's coming and all you have to do is
wait. You're just patient enough to keep waiting because you know that
there is the end coming and that is what gives you strength and
courage."
