Letters of Love A Letter From the Heart I have been a Christian most of my life, but over the last 7 years, I have experienced many trials and changes that have rocked our lives. I am one who likes to carefully lay out the plans and goals for the future, but God had other ideas. The fiery trials have put me on my knees for hours at a time, but many times I felt that my prayers weren't going beyond the ceiling. At times I questioned, God are you really there, and if you are do you really care about our situation? I found that like many, I only knew of God, I didn't really 'KNOW' Him. To explain... to KNOW Him is to know His word, how He sounds, His attributes, His awesome abilities etc., in other words to know Him like you would know a trusted friend. I began to study many biographies of men and women who God used in great and unusual ways in the past. I wanted to find out what they did that was different from what I was doing. Why was God seemingly answering their prayers and not mine? I had been praying for months that God would send someone across my path that was far advanced to where I was, spiritually speaking. Someone who lived and demonstrated the word, especially in the area of signs, wonders and miracles, the area which is sadly lacking in most churches today. God sent a very special lady across my path, I live in Calgary and she lives outside Boise Idaho. I look back some 20 years and can see the miraculous chain of events that began to happen, causing our paths to cross. I met Jane for the first time at a Benny Hinn crusade in Boise Idaho, (for 5 minutes), seven years ago, and then again 3 years ago in Calgary. While she was here I asked her many deep questions about her relationship with God, why so many of her prayers were answered, why she seemed to be so favoured of the Lord, how she heard from God etc. At the end of the evening I asked her if she would come back to Calgary if I could arrange a house meeting of about 20 people, she told me that she would come for one person, if God told her to. Yes, and this lady does hear from God often in dreams and visions, I was intrigued with her many stories and life experiences. That one house meeting turned into many meetings in homes and churches, Jane is returning to Calgary again in May to minister in song and word. She has a beautiful voice and her songs carry a strong anointing! Her altar ministry in churches is both effective and compassionate, as I watch most people being prayed for, melt in tears. As I watch Jane, I see a genuine love and compassion for people, a deep love and passion for her best friend Jesus, and for those who are fortunate enough to know her, a friend like none other!!
