At the time these messages came pouring out of my spirit, I didn’t know what they were called. Some times they rhymed and sometimes they didn’t. All I knew was that they were words that portrayed the very depths of my soul. And the definition of the word ode adequately expressed my feelings. Ode: a lyric poem usually addressed to some person or thing and characterized by lofty feeling and dignified style. (Webster’s New World Dictionary)
