IT’S
TIME TO RAIN!
It’s
been a long; long time since blessings freely flowed.
My heart is breaking, there is a drought deep within.
Seeds planted have lain dormant far to long __
IT’S TIME TO RAIN!
Off
in the distance a cloud the size of a man’s hand
Is growing __ filling the western skies.
Thunder rolling and rumbling __ the heavens light up
IT’S TIME TO RAIN!
It’s
going to rain __ I can feel it in the atmosphere.
The aroma of rain is permeating the air
Clouds are closing in __ it’s time __it’s time.
IT’S TIME TO RAIN!
Parched
dry soil begins to soften.
Lifeless trees, and tiny flowers lift their heads
In
praise to God for the promised rain.
IT’S
TIME FOR THE LATTER RAIN!
Pitter__
patter raindrops are softly falling.
Deep inside springs of living water are welling up.
The fragrance of showers, beckon and call __ get ready
IT’S GOING TO RAIN!
My
heart once like dried out soil is giving birth
To new life__ the drought is nearly over.
Pain soon will be forgotten __ new life will begin.
IT’S BEGINNING TO RAIN__IT’S RAINING__ IT’S RAINING!

Note:
It was in the most severe droughts of my life that I learned to stay
connected to Jesus by and through His Word the [Bible.] I still go through
times that I need a fresh downpour from heaven. “Life’s [droughts]
calls for HEAVENLY RAIN.”
If
you are in that place where your spiritual life seems to be in a drought,
take heart, your faithfulness is not going unnoticed by the Lord. He sees
where you are at and cares deeply for you. So take off your raincoat__ put
away your umbrella and get ready TO SOAK IN THE LATTER RAIN!

Isa
58:11
And the Lord shall guide you continually and satisfy you in drought and in
dry places and make strong your bones. And you shall be like a watered
garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not.
How
precious it is, Lord, to realize that you are thinking about me
constantly! Ps. 139:17-18 TLB
Luke
12:54 He also said to the crowds of people, When you see a cloud rising in
the west, at once you say, It is going to rain! And so it does.
Luke
12:55 And when [you see that] a south wind is blowing, you say, There will
be severe heat! And it occurs.
Luke
12:56 You playactors (hypocrites)! You know how [intelligently] to discern
and interpret and prove the looks of the earth and sky; but how is it that
you do not know how to discern and interpret and apply the proof to this
present time?
